Client Overview
The Hedong Canteen of East China Normal University, originally
constructed in 1984 as a two-story internal frame structure, underwent
an expansion in 1985 with the addition of a third floor. In 1995, the
third floor was renovated, establishing its current layout.
The building has since seen multiple renovations and expansions. While the first and second floors have consistently served as dining areas, the third floor has been repurposed several times—from student study halls and administrative offices to, most recently, the Baiyulan Guesthouse prior to the latest major renovation.
Nestled quietly on campus, the Hedong Canteen has faithfully served generations of ECNU students and teachers for over 30 years, becoming a cherished memory for countless alumni.
Project Overview
Cold Storage Installation: Each cold storage panel, wire duct, and gap was sealed with adhesive before assembly.
Silicone Sealing Standards: The cold storage surface was self-inspected to ensure a clean, seamless seal with silicone.
German Bitzer Refrigeration System: The imported refrigeration system from Bitzer (Germany) delivers exceptional cooling performance.
Copper Pipe and Wiring Layout: All refrigeration system copper pipes and electrical wiring were installed in straight, parallel lines.
Floor Finishing: The floor was paved with printed aluminum plates for aesthetics and ease of cleaning.
Energy Efficiency: The storage design for food products ensures long-term energy savings during operation.
